NSI Consulting with its Stakeholders in the Fishing Industry
1st, June 2012As a service-orientated organisation, the NSI strives to ensure that its stakeholders are informed about the services it offers and to seek feedback on service renders. The NSI therefore hosted information and feedback sessions with its stakeholders on 29 May 2012 in Walvis Bay and on 1 June 2012 in Lüderitz to promote awareness of the NSI’s activities and to improve service delivery to its stakeholders.
At these meetings the NSI provided feedback on the recent mission of European Commission Health & Consumer Protection Directorate – General’s Directorate F – Food and Veterinary Office (FVO) inspectors; Progress made on the implementation of the Shellfish Sanitation Monitoring Programme, testing, inspection, metrology and certification services offered by the NSI; and feedback on the NSI customer satisfaction survey.
Both the Walvis Bay and Lüderitz meetings were well attended by stakeholders within the Fishing and Mariculture Industry.
