NSI Personnel trained by BOBS

As part of its capacity building strategy, the NSI organised a training course for its staff members from both the departments of Standards Development and Coordination, and Certification. The training was conducted during the period 30 November - 18 December 2009 by BOBS (Botswana Bureau of Standards).
The training consisted of three modules, namely Implementation, Documentation and Auditing. The training on the implementation and documentation was based on the ISO (International Standards Organization) 9001:2008 standard - Guidelines for Quality and/or Environment Management Systems Auditing.
Nine NSI personnel attended - two form the Standard Development and Coordination Department and seven from the Certification Department. The implementation and documentation modules were conducted by Ms. T. Ramokwena and the auditing module by Mr. Katse.
