Exclusive Interview with Ruindja Ali Kaakunga (Othy)
This issue of the NSI Newsletter features an exclusive interview with NSI Chief Executive Officer, Riundja Ali Kaakunga (Othy). Mr. Kaakunga talks about the vital role that NSI plays as Namibia’s National Standards Body. “A national standards body is responsible for the promotion of standardisation and maintenance of standards in the country and therefore serves to remove unnecessary barriers to trade. Accredited Testing facilities would further strengthen the standardization process. It is against that background that Namibia also had to develop its national quality infrastructure.” he said.
